For these business cards created for an IT company, we chose mass-coloured blue cardstock, gold foil stamping, and white UV ink printing.
The deep blue board contrasts beautifully with the raised gold foil logo, while the contact details were printed in raised white UV ink.
Why white instead of gold for the text? Because metallic gold can be difficult to read under certain lighting conditions.
How are they printed?
Foil business cards are produced using a custom-made magnesium die, created specifically for your design. The magnesium die is then mounted on a press that applies heat and pressure to transfer the foil onto the board. Foil stamping is a fine craft – this manual die-based application method delivers truly spectacular results, with exceptional depth and detail that far surpass any other metallic application technique.
