Luxury Business Cards – Raised Print (UV Raised Printing)
Also known as Raised Printing, this finishing technique is achieved by stacking multiple layers of ink during the printing process. The special ink used is highly durable, wear-resistant, and adheres exceptionally well to the cardstock.
Unlike traditional embossing, the back of the business card remains completely flat, with no visible pressure marks. This allows raised text or graphics to be applied on both sides of the card, without the need for multilayer cardstock.
The raised effect can be created using any ink color or clear selective UV varnish. Cards are printed on premium cardstock of minimum 380 gsm, available in any color.
Thanks to digital printing technology, designs can include both text and images with high precision.
How are they printed?
Raised business cards are produced using state-of-the-art UV printing equipment, capable of layering ink multiple times in the exact same position, with pixel-level precision (up to 1 pixel accuracy). This process allows the creation of clearly defined raised elements with excellent consistency.
