This set of business cards was created for a hotel brand. The specifications were simple, yet technically challenging: black cardstock, gold text, embossed coloured logo, and a subtle marble effect in the background.
The process began with a double-layer matte black cardstock, initially printed with gold foil on the front. The second step involved raised printing of the hotel logo, followed by the final stage—matte spot varnish—which introduced the marble effect discreetly.
The marble texture becomes visible only under certain lighting conditions and can be achieved on any cardstock color.
