A very challenging project for one of our clients, requiring perfect alignment between embossing, foil stamping, and UV printing.

As with all LuxuryCards projects, this set was a technical challenge. The most difficult part was aligning the embossed area with the foil application.

The chosen cardstock was a mass-dyed blue, velvety 300 gsm multilayer, bonded to an additional 300 gsm layer to prevent emboss marks from showing on the back.

The final result appears as a single solid piece of cardstock, with a raised logo. Embossing and foil application are done entirely by hand, followed by manual lamination of the layers, and finally – the UV printing.

The emboss elevation level depends on the embossing die size and the selected cardstock.

These business cards can be produced at this quality level by only three or four printing houses in Romania.
