Tactile elegance
Executed on premium white or coloured cardstock—typically 400gsm and above—the process involves deeply pressing your text and logos into the fibres of the paper. As the ink is applied, the press creates a beautiful, tactile deboss that you can feel beneath your fingertips.
Bespoke precision
This technique is ideal for logos and typography, provided the artwork is vector-based. Every project is entirely bespoke, requiring a custom-made printing plate created specifically for your design to ensure a crisp, high-definition finish.
How are they printed?
Letterpress printing is carried out using high-raised printing presses originally developed in the 15th century. With the help of custom metal or polymer plates, the equipment presses the design into the cardstock while simultaneously applying ink in a very fine, controlled layer.
Can I customize the artwork?
Yes. Any artwork can be printed, as long as it complies with the technical limitations of the letterpress process.
What information can be included on the business cards?
You can include any information relevant to your business: name, job title, phone number, email address, physical address, website, photo, etc.
Are there any color limitations?
Yes. Letterpress does not support gradients or metallic inks. Additionally, it can only be used on light-coloured cardstock.

Please note that front side only business cards are offered on 360gsm cardsock – only highest quality, and our double-sided letterpress cards come as standard on 600gsm multi-layer board.
