This type of business card represents the pinnacle of luxury business card production. It is the most complex to execute and also the most exclusive.
These cards require metallic foil application, followed by mechanical embossing to raise the foiled elements. The process demands extreme precision, meticulous attention to detail, and many hours of skilled craftsmanship.
Embossing uses a dedicated metal die that pushes selected elements from the back of the cardstock, transforming the overall appearance of the card. This luxury finish is rarely used due to the high level of expertise required.
How are they printed?
For embossed business cards, the foil stamping process is applied first, followed by embossing using a dedicated embossing die, which raises the foiled elements.
Can they be printed double-sided?
Yes. We can produce double-sided embossed business cards without the embossing marks being visible on the opposite side.
What information can be included on the business cards?
You can include any information relevant to your business: name, job title, phone number, email address, physical address, website, photo, etc.
Can any element be embossed?
No. Embossing can only be applied to elements with a minimum thickness of 2 mm.

Double-sided business cards with embossing and foil blocking are produced using premium multilayer cardstock (700gsm) as standard.
This process involves double-sided foil application and double-sided embossing.
The costs for the dies will be added to the prices listed above as follows: £40 or the foil die and £60 for the embossing die.
Lead times may vary depending on the current volume of orders in production.
